This worksheet is designed to help students develop their understanding of fractions by calculating the fraction of a shaded part in a rectangle.
Instructions:
Ask the students to measure the length of the rectangle and the length of the shaded part using a ruler or tape measure.
Have the students record their measurements on the worksheet.
Finally, have the students write the fraction on the worksheet.
